About Us
The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of people in the From Prison Cells to Phd’s Womxn’s Cohort in partnership with Light To Life. We are comparing the experiences of those who participated in the Womxn’s Cohort programming to those who signed up but did participate. We hope to collect information about the impact of Light To Life’s programming with P2P’s Womxn’s cohort so that we can improve services for survivors.
What is the Womxn’s Cohort?
The Womxn’s Cohort provides virtual reentry services, group counseling, mentoring, leadership opportunities and educational workshops for survivors of IPV post incarceration. The programming is sensitive to the participants’ traumatic pasts, and helps them move past such trauma.
